Lee Renaut
Lee is a distinguished instructor and competitor of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu on the UK scene. As a featherweight he has a teaching style that focuses on attention to detail and technique over strength; this along with his love of Jiu Jitsu and friendly personality could make him the ideal person to help improve your game.

Joe Tacon
Joe, a black belt under Lee Renaut, began his martial arts journey at the Oxford academy back in 2015. Since then, he has become a devoted student and athlete, working tirelessly to hone his skills.
Thanks to his dedication and hard work, Joe has earned the respect of his peers and instructors alike, and has now become a highly regarded instructor himself.
Outside of martial arts, Joe works as an engineer, which has equipped him with the ideal foundation for breaking down complex techniques and presenting them in a clear and concise manner. This makes him an excellent teacher, capable of explaining even the most intricate moves in a way that is accessible to everyone, from complete novices to seasoned practitioners.
barbara Hale
As an accomplished practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Barbara holds a brown belt under Lee Renaut. Throughout her career, she has honed her skills at numerous gyms across Europe, which has equipped her with a diverse set of techniques that can be applied to a wide range of scenarios.
In addition to her extensive training, Barbara has conducted self-defence workshops for the “this girl can” charity and has taught self-defence classes at Brunel University. This experience makes her an ideal instructor for our women’s-only class.
